I am Rector of Bocconi University since 2016.
I am a Professor of Management specialized in the strategic management of technology and innovation, with a specific focus on digital transformation.
Between 2007 and 2013 I was a Visiting Professor at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College (in the Winter terms) and in 1997 and 1998 I was a Visiting Scholar at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
Before being appointed Rector, I served Bocconi as Dean of the Faculty, Director of the MBA program, and Director of the PhD in Business Administration.
I am author of 80+ academic articles and 7 books. Over the years I have collaborated with many Global500 companies, innovative multinationals and newly founded startups.
