Gianni Bonelli is General Manager (CEO) of Mondino National Neurological Institute Foundation since January 2023. MSc in Business Administration with specialization in Economics of Public Adminstration at the University “ Luigi Bocconi” in Milan. Then he obtained a Master Degree in General Management of Health Authorities (EMMAS) at Bocconi University, a Master Degree in Strategic management and Leadership of Healthcare Organizations (EMMLOS) at University of Pavia and a Master Degree in Innovation Management in Healthcare (EMGIS) at Politecnico of Milan Since 1997 he has top management roles in various Local Health Authorities throughout the Piedmont territory. His activity was focused on the general management in terms of finance and budgeting, management review, planning and control. From 2000 to 2006 he was Director of planning, accounting and control in two different Local Health Authorities (before Biella and then Vercelli). From 2006 to 2011 he held the position of Managing Director of Hospital Agency of Alessandria and then from 2011 to 2012 of Local Health Authority Cuneo 2 Alba Bra. From 2012 to 2015 he become General Manager of Local Health Authority Cuneo 1 Cuneo, Mondovì Savigliano, from 2015 to 2018 General Manager of Local Health Authority of Biella and from 2019 to January 2023 General Manager of University Hospital of Varese
