Pasquale Di Gennaro is a senior officer at the “Information technologies and cybersecurity department” of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali), since 2009. He works on affairs regarding EU data protection regulation enforcement, blockchain technologies for privacy enhancements, cloud computing, biometrics, digital identity and Internet of things security.
He has authored several articles on computer security and personal data protection, on whose subjects he holds courses too.
He has previously been a researcher in the field of computer networks. He achieved a Master Degree with honours in Computer Networks Engineering.
