Three years after what was the beginning of the most massive digital reliance in human history, with digitization continuing to accelerate, work becoming increasingly virtualized, and the collection of big data enabling new developments in artificial intelligence, cyber risk is continually on the verge of spinning out of our control.
Companies today are challenged to align all cybersecurity activities (technologies, processes, people, governance, compliance, crisis management and incident response plans) in order to build true organizational cyber resilience. Today’s company or public entity is indeed at risk. The “Cyber Risk Management 2024” survey by TIG and Cyber Security Angels – CSA (conducted in January 2024 on a sample of 166 medium to large companies, interviewing those in the company involved in the daily management of cybersecurity) highlights what is the state of maturity of Italian companies on the path to effective cyber risk management.
